Reggie Hill
A scientist, lifelong movie lover, and the creator and co-host of Movie Postmortem.
Reggie earned a Ph.D. in Genetics and Molecular Biology and has spent more than 20 years leading cancer research laboratories and projects. Movies have always inspired just as much curiosity as science.
Movie Postmortem brings those two interests together: close examination, spirited debate, and the belief that even a deeply flawed film may contain something worth celebrating, or an idea worth stitching back together.
From study section to operating table
The format of the show grew out of the way scientific study sections and grant reviews work. Reviewers examine an idea closely, identify its strengths, explain where it falls short, and consider what could make it stronger.
At the Movie Postmortem operating table, that process becomes Causes of Celebration, Causes of Death, and Script Stitch-Ups, with fake commercials, running jokes, and two generations of movie opinions mixed in.
Favorite postmortems
These are not simply the films Reggie rated highest. They are episodes that stand out because of the conversations, discoveries, and running jokes that made recording them special.
